Mary Tucciarone - Christmas Craft Inspirations

Mary Tucciarone's 1877 farmhouse in Connecticut is filled with her flea market finds which she crafts into gorgeous decor. The photos below are just a few from her BHG Christmas Ideas 2008 shoot. My favorite is the tree topper full of vintage crystals, rhinestones and pearls!

ohhhh if I only had a farmhouse!.......

Pearl Centerpiece - Southern Lady Holidays 2008

This wonderful floral centerpiece I found in the Southern Lady Holidays 2008 magazine is made using 2 containers. One holds the florals which sits in the 2nd glass container. The 2nd container is filled with hundreds of pearls and gold trim has been added to the outside top and bottom, which could be easily glued right on the glass. I am going to try this for my home. What a beautiful craft idea for a Christmas tablescape...

India Jane Inspiration for Tablescapes

I just love the below photos from India Jane and thought I would share. They carry all the current trends in products like mercury glass. I especially like the floral displays they use in these photos and the mantel design with the oval mirror on the first photo. These are some fabulous table scapes......

Happy Thanksgiving 2008 Tablescape

Happy Thanksgiving to my readers. I'm posting early so you get a sneak peak of my tablescape this year. It will just be me and my 2 younger girls this year, so it's all about simplicity seating, but fit for princesses! It's set using all white with a touch of blue. I hate ironing so lets hope the wrinkles in the table cloth flatten out by tommorow night! I was hoping it wouldn't show up on camera.... but to no avail it did.

I spray painted my old orange pumkins white and did a vase of white ostrich feathers to relax the setting and give a shabby look.

October is my favorite month. My birthday is October 7th and my lucky number has always been 7! Below are shots of my October living room tablescape. This setting is also great for the Victorian Halloween Ambiance. My favorite colors this October are lavender, pink blush, chocolate blush, burgandy, black and of course white! This is my VICTORIAN OCTOBER..........

Sweet Designs Tablescapes & Vignettes

I came across this very talented blogger at Sweet Designs and had to share. On her blog you almost feel as if some of her tablescapes could come right out of Victoria Magazine! She also shares her secrets with you on vignette design. My favorite being that you should make sure there is Highs and Lows in your vignette, so your eye travels through the different levels. This will definitely give interest to the vignette.

This is something im going to practice on. I also love her photographs and lighting. Pure elegance...

Im loving this Christmas Tree!
