Bliss Linens Pure Luxury

As Romantic Homes magazine's March 2008 issue states - IF HEAVEN HAD A SHOP IT WOULD BE BLISS!

The first time I saw pictures of this shop I was floored! There is almost no words to describe the talent with the way they mix the old and new. It may sound funny but after seeing their shop in Romantic Homes Magazine and the below photos from their site, I actually went around my home tossing everything that didn't belong with the soft muted tones color scheme they have. All of my red toile, bright yellows and buffalo check went straight to storage! I started buying every shell I could get my hands on, linen by the bolts, etc. etc. Put it this way....... If I had the money I would literally buy everything they have for sale!

When I finally get my antique mall booth going, this store will be a huge part of my inspiration, except for the linens. I plan to sell only vintage and antique.

Years ago I found a pure white peacock on ebay and fell in love with it....well my family didn't agree and didnt want the huge white bird laying around the house, so I didn't buy it.......BIG MISTAKE! They show one right in the window of their shop! And its sooooo wonderful. Take it from me readers if something speaks to you, buy it and don't look back. Enjoy......

White Leather Wingback Love

I've been looking around for a pair of white wingback chairs and found these lovelies over at 1stdibs. The first is sold by Woodsons & Rummerfields and made by Jecco. They have silver legs and chrome nailheads and are covered in white pig-skin textured vinyl. Perfect for the animal friendly. These make me want to take a bubble bath before I slip into the chair, then wearing a white robe, sipping champagne, I have become the princess I was born to be....

The second one is from Emmerson Troop. This one has white leather upholstery with a white lacqueer frame and silver grommets.

There is only one of these. too bad.

Anyways these would go great with my mercury glass Christmas theme this year. Here's the beginnings of my stock of ornaments, some are silver and some are sepia and look centuries old! lovvveeee them! The problem is they are soo heavy, I'm gonna have to tie these very securely to the tree. Check out my new blinged out birdies!

I don't know about others but this year I started in July buying my Christmas decorations to get ahead of the rush. Last year I waited until Halloween to buy for Christmas and the good pickings were all gone by then. Maybe its just Tennessee, but nothing good stays on the market for more than a couple of days here. If you wait its too late!
