I'm having a Gustav III moment and found this video shown below at youtube . Its about the Swedish Monarchs From 1523 to 2008.Some History: The controversial Gustav III was King of Sweden from 1771 until his death. He was the eldest son of King Adolf Frederick of Sweden and Louisa Ulrika of Prussia, sister of Frederick the Great. Gustav III was a benefactor of arts and literature. He founded several academies, including the Swedish Academy, and had the Royal Swedish Opera built. He became a Freemason in 1780, and introduced the Rite of Strict Observance into Sweden. An assisination attempt took place at a masked ball at the Royal Opera House in Stockholm at midnight on March 16, 1792. He was shot in the back. He died from the infected gunshot wound on March 29, 1792.
I am proud to say I am half Scandinavian (Finish), and hope to someday visit Finland and Sweden. I think my next vacation I actually might go because I'm in great need of fresh air! I would like to visit the Gustav III:s Museum of Antiquities shown below.
Or to get my fix maybe I should just go to Stockbridge MA, to visit Gustavian Room. Just look at their computer armoire shown below.
