Aspen co interior decorators designer

Bright brilliant colors surround you when you live in the Colorado Front Range. In spring, flowers and shrubs replace snow covered peaks. In summer, color abounds, from the brilliant blue skies to lush green pines, to the pale Aspen trees whispering on summer breezes. In autumn, color unfolds with vividness and vibrancy, resounding through the mountains. Layers on layers of color fill the space between winter snow and summer skies. Bringing those vibrant colors inside and living with them in your home can be a challenge. You don't want too many, but you want them all. Sky blue walls dance with radiance when quirky white clouds drift across the ceiling. Rich pine greened upholstery covers furniture arranged in a cozy conversational grouping.

Floors the color of russet mountains, in hard woods are covered sparsely with area rugs in rich gold tones, echoing the color of falling leaves. Throw pillows in lemony yellows, golds, orange, and red decorate couches and an open floor space. Tables of darker wood hold living room accessories, lamps of burnished brass pick up the colors of the mountain minerals, and art work invites in vivid colors. When your bringing color into the room, look at the whole room and consider for a moment the feeling you want to have while you're there. In my living room, I want to feel as if I'm standing in a mountain meadow surrounded by pine trees, blue skies and colorful Aspen trees. I wanted to feel the rich warmth of the red mountain soil beneath my feet. More than anything else, I wanted to hear the wind rustling through the pines.

With a color scheme so brilliant you'll have to consider the intensity of color and light, as well as how much of the color you really want to experience. Because, so much of this particular room was covered in knotty pine wood, natural stone in the fireplace, and mountain revealing windows, I was able to add the colors of the mountains in large chunks as well as the little bits of high impact color that tied the whole scheme together. Of course, it all started with a painting I purchased at a local art show of mountains, glowing Aspen, and towering pine trees. There are many opportunities in the Colorado Rockies to purchase affordable art from local artists. Just visit any Gallery and choose your work.
