The Mora Clock is from the town of Mora in Sweden, dating back to 1750. Farmers looking to supplement their income because of bad weather and poor soil started building clocks, both wall and tall case clocks. Each family would specialize in different areas of the clock. Some would work only on the brass clockwork and some would build them and paint them etc. The one shown here is for sale at Real Gustavian online store. It is out of my price range! But its beautiful! sooooo mom if your reading?????I want one of these beauties for Christmas..............
